SF2003 and HF2121 (OPPOSE)

Bill is known as the “don’t say gay” legislation. Extends current law to include 7th through 12th graders.  Prohibits school districts, charter schools, and innovation zone schools from providing any program, curriculum, test, survey, questionnaire, promotion, or instruction relating to sexual orientation or identity. 


The bill is in the Senate Education Committee.



HSB669 (OPPOSE)

"A bill for an Act allowing a person to raise, guide, and instruct a child in a manner consistent with the child's sex." -HSB669 

In other words, this is an Anti-LGBTQ+, pro-conversion therapy bill that would provide legal protection to force children to live as a sex that does not align with their gender identity.


The subcommittee is scheduled to meet on Monday, February 8 at 12:30 pm in Room 103
